This is something you definitely want a professional to do. With out the right process, cleaners, and techniques somebody might owe you some new furniture.
One reason is the fact that a lot of chairs and couches have wool in them. Some wool is stitched in back of the yarn. Too much water will cause the wool to brown or yellow. Another is the chemicals you use, if used improperly can cause the colors to turn loose from their dye lockers and run together. Third some chemical will eat a hole right through chair! Same goes for rugs. That's the reason why it costs $65.00 to have a couch cleaned. It's not just the work, it's the technique & training it takes to do it right.
Here's what you can expect from us when we come to clean your rug or upholstery.
- Thorough Pre inspection I look and make note of any holes and tears in the piece of furniture and make note of it before I begin
- Thorough pre vacuum
- Three step cleaning process
- 1st color stabilizer brush in
- 2nd soil release agent brushed in to suspend soil from the fibers
- 3rd rinse and brighten
- Separate all cushions and pads to dry
